Ok so no.1 is base carb  but the adjuster screw for the next one sits righr in the middle and seemingly out of reach. So please someone tell me how you balance the carbs..is there a magic tool that can fertle into the gap blind?

Hi radical, there certainly is a special tool. A long tube with a knurled knob one end and at the other a slotted inner cable. This enhad a 90^ bend about 50mm b4 the end. It eorks ok when the engine is not running but of course you need to adjust when its yicking over which is not so easy. The VFR''s use them as well.
